Docklands, Melbourne

Docklands is a short walk from the Melbourne CBD. It is a relatively new area with residential buildings (mainly apartments with fantastic views), commercial offices and retail outlets.

I love riding my bicycle to Docklands. It is bicycle-friendly, and there is lots to see and to photograph.

I love this stunning sculpture, which looks amazing against the red backdrop.

    I like the design of the sculpture, parts of it remind me of the multi-colored straight pins we had for hand-sewing, funny , I know.
    A relaxing view of the marina to share with us skywatchers, a respite from the cold winter we are having in the northeast,USA.

    «Louis» loves the geometry in some of these shots, particularly the one of the triangular corner of the building against the blue sky.
