It is wonderful to see a bird nest in a suburban garden. I took this photo in my brother’s garden in the suburbs just outside Kuala Lumpur. The nest was only about 5 feet high on the plant. The two little birds (only one is visible in the above photo) spend a lot of time with their beaks open to the sky, asking mommy bird to drop food into their mouths.

My 16 year old daughter went shopping in KL today. I can't imagine what kind of shopping experience she had, will have to wait to find out. Her host family came along which was nice.
