Albert Park is about 3 kms (about 1.8 miles) from the Melbourne CBD. I rode my bicycle through the park last week. When I saw the birds, I just had to stop to take some photos.
This pelican a was looking for food along the edge of the lake
A black swan poked its head up as I got closer
A sunny day but not much happening
Birds crossing
A park beside the lake – this guy seems to be having a nice quite afternoon
Please visit
Watery Wednesday

second pic is so cute, sticking out the red color
Great shots. I love the swan poking his head over the wall. My daughter used to live near that park and I have walked around the lake when visiting her. It is a nice park in the city.
love the birds crossing!
