A sunny day in St Kilda

We went to St Kilda (an inner suburb of Melbourne) during the weekend. There were many people out and about enjoying the sunshine. Here are a few photos.

Luna Park is an amusement park. It dates back to early 1900, and has been operating continuously ever since.

The Palais Theatre, which also dates back to early 1900,  is situated next to Luna Park. It is a venue for live performances.

Across the road, is the Hotel Esplanade, locally known as The Espy. It was built in late 1800s, and is now a pub.

This is a photo taken from a pedestrian bridge over the main road. The white building is St Kilda Sea Baths. Here are a couple of photos of St Kilda Sea Baths.

Very nice pictures. This places has a strangly familiar feel to it. I would love to take a few shots of that entrance with the big face and the wonderful old theater.
