This is a section of a playground. It is made of wood and unpainted, except for the little bit of black on the top of some of the posts. It's out in the country, with lush green fields on 2 sides. It faces the sea and is stituated next to a lovely cafe. It's got a fantastic location, and it blends in with the environment.
I love it... but it just doesn't work. I've never saw it being used. I saw a family with 2 kids (probably around 5 years old) crossing the playground. The kids did not stop to climb or to swing. No one plays here. No one loves this almost monotonal place.
I think of playgrounds I see in the city. I see kids and Moms. What also comes to mind is colours. Often loud colours. Often distasteful combination of colours...

I think playgrounds are more fitting in suburban and urban areas. The children have the beautiful sea and fields to engage them!
Dear Evelyn,
Oh, sometimes, I come across a quiet playgournd. The sketched one could have kids at different time on a different day.
Kind regards, Sadami
That's a shame its not being used.
I love this playground. We have many colors in ours too and I don't really like it but I assume it's for the kids.
I'd still have a blast there ;-D
playground be a fun place.
Distasteful colours?
Something like this outside of le centre Pompidou in Paris?
(Le centre Pompidou, «Louis'» favourite building to hate! It's a giant Lego structure on a bad drug trip!)
