Balloons on the streets of Beijing

Balloon seller © Evelyn Howard 2011

I was on the way to lunch when I saw this lady arrive on her bicycle, with lots of balloons for sale. I love balloons; they seem like happy objects to me.

Well, looks like I am not the only one who loves balloons. I took this photo after lunch. I guess business was good.

Nice photos.
There is a kindergarten near my dorm and I see a guy selling ballons everyday. Business is good, the kids happy.

Hopefully it was business and not theft. They are happy looking objects until they go BANG!

I see Dorae-mon (the blue head)! But I've never seen it as a balloon! I think he's more popular in China than Japan :D

Balloons are such a delightful sight, always a favorite. Bicycles with straw baskets too. Both photos bring smiles to my face.

Happy is right. I'm always taking shots of balloon sellers... and amazingly, I am sure they are selling balloons "made in China" everywhere now! I recognize them already... LOL
