St Kilda is on the Melbourne tourist map, as an interesting bay side suburb. One of the most popular places in the suburb is Acland Street. I was there a few days ago, and here are some pictures.
Interesting sculptures on top of hair/beauty salons. These two shops are on opposite sides of the street – funny how different the colour of the sky is…
Acland Street is famous for its cake shops. Great places to go for coffee and cakes, relax and watch the world go by.
Colourful graffiti… these photos were taken in a laneway just off Acland Street.
Please visit Skywatch for photos of skies around the world.

«Louis», being 'extended of forehead' and 'wide of part' wonders if he might get help at the HairRoom...Probably not, but he would have a splendid time visiting the cake shops!
lovely..
Evelyn: I love your skies over your fancy rooftops.
Love the graffiti and most of all the pastries...thanks for sharing!!
Clear Sky
Evelyn, re your question about the lighthouse, yes, that's the lighthouse on the left and the lightkeeper's cottage on the right. The cottage is no longer used as the light is now controlled by computer.
Great skies...That street is one I would love to spend a few hours on..looking at everything and maybe even have a cake or two.
Cool photos, love the graffiti. The pastries are looking delicious too!
Very cooolest pictures!!! ;)
