Skywatch: “Don’t make them feel bad by looking sad”

Lamp post © Evelyn Howard 2009

The sea air have corroded this street lamp into an interesting shape – for the photographer anyway. It was a cloudy day. I took a walk along Port Melbourne beach to see what I would find.

There are a few pairs of twin benches along the beach, with a plaque in between them on the floor.

This is what they say (click on the images to enlarge)…

I love how your capture your shot! This is a great find for a rusty (must also have broken bulb) street lamp. I know they are quick to repair.

Love those plaques on the benches!
