These photos were taken recently in Port Melbourne. Seagulls are a common sight here, but I have only seen jelly fishes a few times.
Birds stay close to the the fish and chips shop nearby, hoping for a bite…

What fun shots! The gulls look as though they're having a meeting -- a serious meeting! Love the jelly fish, not always easy to get a picture of them, but you did a great job! Have a lovely week!

I had a love, hate relationship with the sea gulls during my trip to Australia. They snatched my foods but I love to feed them if they behave. Nice shot on the jellyfish.
Happy week for you!
How cute the sea gulls look, lining up one by one by the beach. What are they waiting for? Fish of course!
Very cool pictures!!!
Great shots, I love the gulls

I adore the gulls and the jelly fish are fascinating. About how big are the jelly fish?

@Diane AZ: My guess is that their heads are 8 inches in diameter... These are by far the biggest I've seen around here.
Seagulls have occupied every top of every available posts and there are more waiting their turn. Beautiful shot.
Wow! Amazing posts! I have never seen jelly fish before...and the birds are having a few seconds restful time on the timber poles.
Surprisingly every poles have been taken!!!
«Louis» really likes that first image. He also likes the second one, which reminded him of this one, snapped by Mme la Vache.
