What do you call the structure usually found at playgrounds for kids to climb?
Visit The Monochrome Weekend to see more monochrome shots. Also visit Shadow Shots.
Great shot. The shadows make it so interesting. In the U.S. we call them monkey bars or jungle gyms. Not sure if they have different names other places.
Oh I like your shadows..perfect in mono-
oh i never knew they were called monkey bars.. i wonder if they serve draft beer :)
Nice photo of what look like a climbing net of some sort.
We called them jungle gyms when I was at school but now they call them adventure playgrounds here. Thanks for the offer to help but I don't use the write in programme.I only recently hanged to Apple and I have still heaps to learn.
Super cool spiderweb playground. Have a great weekend!
It reminds be of something made by Buckminster Fuller.
looks great... so many layers
The shadow seems to evoke a geometric spider's web. The lines are straight but we start to see the arc of the igloo shape. However, the children are there for fun, so the artistry is not so important. However, the grownups are having fun by looking and analyzing...
What wonderful patterns!
Looks like some kind of molecular structure - focusing on the shadows makes a fascinating image.
Somehow in the mix you can see a star...very cool shadow, good choice!
Nice shadow play in this image.
As «Louis» has commented in the past, his usual subject matter doesn't often give him the opportunity to post geometrical studies like this, so he appreciates them all the more when he finds them elsewhere.
Climbing thingy that looks like a web!Grest shadow shot!
Superb image. Love the play of shadows and the textures are marvelous.
