Tea Service

We were holidaying in Ireland when we decided to upgrade our camera. Not a fancy one, but I was having fun playing with the new “toy” at the hotel…

I like the composition of the first picture. I'm impressed with the hotel giving you a tea strainer. Most places I stay at serve tea from a tea bag.

Great shots with your new camera! I have the matching fruit bowl to go with that tea set. If you'd like you can check it out on my March 21st posting.

I love the photos. I also enjoy photography - I'm a sunset picture junkie! I'm glad I found your blog!

Great macros! Your new camera does a beautiful job with close-up shots. I love your sense of composition, and the textures and reflections in that second one are wonderful.

These photos remind «Louis» (who is normally a "coffee hound") of delightful afternoon teas at Mariage Frères when he lived in Paris.

[Editor to «Louis»: How can une vache be a "coffee hound"?

«Louis» to Editor: How can you be so continually obnoxious? You're supposed to be an "editor". As such, you should know this word: M E T A P H O R.]
