The locals refer to this building as Fed Square, which is a centre for cultural activities and entertainment. It is in the Melbourne CBD, and has a few galleries/museum, and restaurants, and has lots of ever changing events. I love visiting Fed Square; there is lots to see and do there.
On a sunny day, a web of shadows adds interest to the building due to the structure of Fed Square
A photo showing the structure of Fed Square. In the above photo, a small section of its external facade is shown on the right. It’s a beautiful structure, and I do apologize that I haven’t got a photo of the entire structure to show you. But click here for a good photo. (The blue building is Eureka Tower. I’ve got 2 photos here).

Interesting architecture. Love how the shadows formed on the floor.
fabulous shots of a fabulous building. I love it.
I have always dreamed of visiting Australia, and this building would be my first stop. Thanks for sharing it's beauty with us, I also love the shadows on the floor more than the reflections.

Great place to see - so much to do there - just across the road from the station and so close to the Yarra. Will be there over the school hols - with littlies in tow doubt there be time to bring the camera out tho' lol
The skeleton that supports the glass dome is extraordinarily beautiful, leaving such lovely shadows - perhaps a web of structural steel. This looks like a fn day to appreciate art and the composing artists. I imagine that I'd get lost with so many cool attractions to be visited...
Lots of characters!
