Station Pier, Port Melbourne

Station Pier © Evelyn Howard 2010

Almost sunset… the pier is in the background, not including the building on the left (which is a restaurant).

The pier is not opened to the public. Entry is normally allowed to passengers of the various boats that comes calling…

The 2 ships of the Spirit of Tasmania dock here. They sail to and fro Melbourne and Tasmania daily.

This is quite a lovely pier. What is that white tower in the middle of the bay in your first photo? It almost looks like a lighthouse. The gulls lined up on the roof made me smile.

Have a sweet Scenic Sunday! :)

Station Pier looks like an interesting spot. I always enjoy seeing day to day life shots of other places and especially if they give a write up. Very nice!
