Daylesford and Malaysia

Daylesford is about 90 minutes drive from Melbourne. We were there a few weekends ago. This is a beautiful time of the year to go there to see the beautiful colours of autumn.

Our walk took us around this beautiful lake. We were heading towards the restaurant that is shown in the middle of the photo, across the lake.

Lovely autumn colours at this time of the year

Reflection of an old bridge…

I have uploaded a few photos on Daylesford in a previous post here.

Now for a sharp contrast…

I arrived in Kuala Lumpur a few days ago. This lovely area by the stream looks like a nice quiet place, except that it is next to a really busy road. I find the juxtaposition interesting.

Visit James at Weekend Reflections and Sunday Bridge Series for photos of reflections and bridges.

What marvelous photos--how odd that you are going into Autumn and we are into Spring flowers...

These photos fill my eyes--this is the greatest compliment I can give.

On May 1st, it seems so strange "to me" hearing you say "just coming into autumn" ... opposite ends of the earth -:)

What a nice collection, and your little bridge is a great contribution to the Sunday Bridge theme.

I'd say the old bridge has a lot of life left in it.

I love your walk around the lake and then the modern roadway. Nice.

You have done really well. That rope, do children hang on it and jump into the water?

Are you in Malaysia to visit family?
