When I saw this “bridge” in Cameron Highlands (Malaysia), I thought of Sunday Bridge Series immediately.
Cameron Highlands has lots of farms (vegetables and flowers) and this bridge enables farm workers to cross the stream separating the farm from the main road – extremely functional but not for everyone!

It's great to have you back at Sunday Bridges, Evelyn!
Thank you for this unique contribution. This is a perfect example of why I've tried to keep the definition of "bridge" loose - it doesn't have to have cars or trains crossing it!
This is a very rustic bridge ... need a good sense of balance ;-)
You'd have to have a very good balance to cross that bridge! ;D
Very scary!!!! MB
Lol, rustic and therefore nice but I suppose it would be tricky!
definitely not one I would want to cross!
but I love the simplicity of it.
It must be an acquired skill learning to cross this bridge without losing your balance. Think I'll just admire it from here.
That's a neat bridge. Your photos are wonderful, Evelyn.
adorable! this looks like one of the makeshift foot bridges in my grandfather's farm when i was a kid.:p
A few paces would tell me right off if it was safe! But I'm betting it's safe and strong and functional enough to get the job done.
I enjoyed your post! :-)
Peace,
Gina
