Kitchen tools

Kitchen Tools © Evelyn Howard 2010
Ink and watercolour on paper.

This is my drawing to answer the TMC challenge of "Something in the kitchen".

The container of tools seems like an interesting mix of shapes, and it caught my eye when I was looking for something to work on.

Since it is my first try at drawing something in 20 minutes, I had no idea how it was going to go. 20 minutes seems very short but once I got going, I realised that I could finish the drawing. It was also useful to plan the drawing before I got started. That way, I got the thinking out of the way, and when I started the clock, I just had to focus on drawing.  It was a good exercise.

Interesting exercise - successfully done! Do you have the saying when someone is able to draw well that the person has a "good hand"? You have a "good hand", Evelyn. «Louis» always enjoys seeing your work.
