Jagalchi Fish Market (S. Korea)

This is one of the many places in Busan to buy live seafood. For the adventurous, the live seafood can be taken to a restaurant to be cooked, and enjoyed.

There were many varieties which I did not recognise. I hate to admit this, but I was a bit squeamish… We didn’t buy any; in fact we didn’t stay for very long.

Competition must be stiff since there are many stalls.

Those men standing at the market looks like a doll.

This looks so much more organized than the seafood market in Hong Kong I posted a while back! I'm not squeamish, but I usually leave others to pick the live food. Makes a meal bar none.

Dear Evelyn,
Your photos are always colorful and vivid. So beautiful. Poles with fish sculpture look very nice.
Cheers, Sadami

Love that sculpture! I can't imagine buying my food live. Not for me thank you. But I would have to explore the market. :)
