A sculpture has it’s back to a glass wall with ongoing flow of water on one of it’s surface.
Ok, not really water, but one of Ron Mueck’s works on the gallery wall early this year. It was a fantastic show.
Here are more of his masterpieces from the exhibition:
Happy Watery Wednesday.

I must admit that Ron Mueck’s work scares me a bit... I have seen it before... eek!
Fascinating.
My watery photos are shrimp boats coming in and a sailboat going out. Do stop by if you get a chance.
Interesting how the arms are flinging out in the same way in the first two photos! Like Linda said, it is a bit creepy. But I like the second shot, it really does look like he's in a pool somewhere :D
Hey, ni hao! Is that Victoria as in British Columbia... or as in in London... as or in Australia? Super realism - in painting or sculpture - always jolts me. I suppose that is the intention. I like the top metal sculpt with the glass fountain, though.
@ Francisca: Ahh, this is in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks for the question, I must remember to be clear about this next time :).
Yes, I do like the metal sculpture too and fountain, which are permanent displays/designs at the gallery.
@linda: I can see why it might be creepy. I wouldn't like to be alone with them, but it was ok in the gallery.
@Kaori: Good point about the first and second photo. I hadn't noticed!
Dear Evelyn,
...me, too, I have the same feeling as Linda has. Anyway, thank you for the info.
Kind regards, Sadami
The top image of the sculpture with the water flowing behind it is lovely.
Wow, they look so real! I'm in love the with floating in a pool and the feet shots. :)
