Capturing Angela's smile

I love it when I feel free to play, and not worry about spoiling a piece. I played with this piece – I painted the face, then added the stripes which made part of the face fade, and then painted the face again. In the process, I tore the paper, but I didn’t care. I kept going.

I was not sure where I was going with this painting, but I was having fun…

Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Very nice work - I'm sure you can develop the stripes of life watercolors! I enjoy the watercolors on your other blog too!

Skin colour is so hard and you have done a great job. i don't know about the stripes, maybe a bandana would be good,

I am so impressed when I "meet" someone who draws and sketches. Your piece is wonderful and it looks like you put a lot into it.
