Scooter

I have been inspired by Linda's lovely paintings, so I got out my paints recently. I was unsure if I was going to finish it - I've never finished something this big - so I waited until now to share... I will be looking at it for a little while before I decide if it's finish...

Wow, Evelyn! This painting is wonderful! I like how you painted the cats looking at the beautifully detailed scooter :-)

You should definitely do more paintings, you've got talent!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your encouragements. I had fun with the cats :). There are actually 2 more hiding in the shadows but it's very hard to see them unless you are very close.

Evelyn this is really terrific. How long have you been working on this? It shows such wonderful detail--and the cats are such an interesting touch--play of opposites. Hard mechanics and soft,fluffy life forms. Beautiful.

Thanks everyone.

@LW Roth:
Thanks Linda. It's been 2 weeks. I saw that you took your time with your pieces, not rushing so I did my best to do the same. Everytime I was about to walk away from it, I find the next bit to work on... I think that kept me going. Sometimes it felt like I was sculpturing the piece into form bit by bit.

Thanks to you, I am totally addicted!

That's a lovely piece. I really like how you captured the form of the moped.
