This is a pedestrian bridge in Melbourne, Australia. Every time I use it, I feel like I am walking twice the distance to cross the road.

Packing Car © Evelyn Howard 2011

It was Sunday morning and many people were packing up to leave. This family of 4 took very long to fit everything back into their car. They had lots of things – luckily their car was big…

Our car was tiny compared to theirs. But we had no problem fitting in a tent, inflatable mattresses, clothing, a computer plus art materials. No problem packing up too… it was quick and easy.

Creative Every Day

Hope you are having a nice Sunday.

hee hee - Not only would you feel like you've travelled twice the distance, you probably get dizzy as well!
;-D

Be that as it may, «Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.

Good for getting some more exercise. I guess even people on wheelchairs can cross the river using this bridge, can't they?

The way you set up the pedestrian bridge shot and composed it is lovely....so interesting to study all the curves and linear qualities. The one of the silverware is really a great macro shot. A very appealing post from 2 different perspectives.

I imagine walking this bridge would make you slow down or become very dizzy!
I love your sketches - a wonderful way of remembering a trip.

If I was a child, I would run up & down,
But alas, if I do it, I will get dizzy.

Next time you go to Singapore, on top of Jurong Hill, they have garden of flame, you can run round and round in the building.

Beautiful photo of the bridge - and it DOES appear as if you're walking twice the amount it should take.

Your drawings always bring a smile to my face and that bridge made my eyes go this way and that and made me dizzy. :)

Ah, this was the Sunday I was behind the Great Firewall of China. Nice composition of the footbridge, and I like it in b&w. The fork and knife would have fit in nicely with Weekend Reflections. Cool.
