I am having a few busy weeks but here are a few photos from my archive; all of them taken in Beijing last year.
It was mid afternoon around 3 o’clock. It was past lunch hour but we were able to find a dumpling shop. The dumplings were delicious and while we were eating, one of the staff was having an afternoon rest. It doesn’t look very comfortable but he was sound asleep.
Well, it’s past lunch hour. It’s not busy so if you had an early start, why not find a comfortable spot and close your eyes.
I saw this guy often in the fashionable Sanlitun area in Beijing. I wonder where his watermelon farm was… Must be rather boring for the horse.
These men were reading newspapers… I am not sure if they were special news or daily news.
We ate here once. Yummy barbequed skewered meat and noodles.
Till next time, I hope you are all well.

So China. I have a good friend who lives in Sanlitun; neat area. Where I'm going to tomorrow is quite different...
Great pictures!
Ahh, and now I want some dumplings!
It's very trusting to sleep in public I think. I love the idea of newspaper in public places to be read there.
What a contrast between the modern building and vehicle and the horse-drawn wagon. Old meets new in Beijing.
hahahahhahah

Wonderful shots of the sleeping people. Love that hazy sunlight in the last shot!
