A few more photos from Malaysia

Cloudless blue sky…. over a papaya tree and power lines (a photo for skywatch)

It has been cool lately (cool in Malaysia is kinda strange… it’s normally hot and humid) but the sun was shining yesterday.

Having a play with colourful clothes hangers…

Oh, look at all the tall people. Dogs must  get tired looking up so often…This is Ollie, my brother’s dog.

Shoes © Evelyn Howard 2011

Outside the entrance of the house…. In Asia, people remove their shoes before entering their homes. Do you notice that this is also a common practice with Asians living overseas?

Have a nice weekend.

As far as I'm aware, I have no Asian genes, but I have always done that, and so do all of us. Makes ultimate sense.
(I have brandnew trainer liners for those that want them).

Such fun views you made. The leaves on the lines like notes in a songbook, and the laundry shadows.

In Japan in the early 1950s I was introduced to the custom of removing our shoes before entering homes. I never did it when I got back home. But our grandchildren remove their shoes as soon as they get into our house.

Wonderful photos! :) And what a sweet dog! I like the photo of the shadows.. :)

Shoes to remove.. it's a nice habit.. Here in my country we use to remove our shoes in the small hall, before we are entering in..

Nice weekend to you! :)

Hi Kim
No macro lens. I have 2 cameras - a point and shoot which I take everywhere, and a slighter bigger one: Nikon Coolpix P90. I cannot change the lens but it's got 24 times zoom.
