I like this very much, Evelyn. Your attention to detail and precision are amazing! Having the background echo the color of the flower's center is a nice touch, it really ties the picture together.

In answer to your question, the duck is a friend's pet, so I was able to get my camera close enough to capture it's feathers. Then I cropped the image to focus on the iridescence and fine detail.
