Buffet table

Buffet breakfast © Evelyn Howard 2011

While travelling, we were staying at the same hotel for a while, and the hotel breakfast was becoming boring. So I decided to have some fun – it made breakfast pass quickly, but the food still tasted the same…

You’re so talented, Evelyn! You’ll never get bored if only with a sketchbook or a camera.

Wow, Evelyn,
Nice sketch and they look very nice, too. Ah, I want to be lazy in the morning?!

> David, what an honor to see you here. Thanks. I like the chop too :)

> Wenn, Thanks. Love food and love drawing food too :)

> Hi Kala, the pastries were good, but after 7 days in a row, I needed a change :)

> Stardust, Hi Yoko, Thank you. Yeah, my sketchbook is my constant companion, since I spend a lot of time on my own. Love the camera too, but a good camera is too heavy to carry around all the time.

> Sadami, thanks. Enjoy, take time out and be lazy sometimes :)

> Lucia, Thanks. Mmm, yeah I suppose it was an ok breakfast. At least I didn't have to leave the hotel. You too, have a nice week.

Nice way to try to add a little extra flavor to your breakfast. I hope your traveling wasn't as boring as the breakfast. Anyway, ...nice sketch.

I love the way you captured the whole scene of hotel breakfast treat! Of high and low keys here made the sketch so alive.

Thanks friend!

Charming drawing even if the food was boring. You make the buffet table look inviting.

Thanks :). When in KL, I'd love to do high tea - there will be so much to draw and to eat!

Thanks :).

It still looks better than the ones we had in America.

Haha, maybe it was a smaller table here, so it looks like there are lots of food...

Oh, I WISH I had your talent! Are you in San Francisco now, or was this just a trip?

> Hi Janice
Thanks. I wish I could write as well as you! I am still in San Francisco, but yes, it is just a trip.
