My first drawing in San Francisco, on a lovely sunny afternoon.
Under the bridge… and scroll to the next photo to see where the beams/poles end.
Here the poles are bolted into the wall below the bridge. When we first arrived and was driving around, I noticed these poles and thought they were interesting…. I guess it’s because I’ve never been under many bridges before.
Visit Sunday Bridges - Louis has uploaded a photo of this bridge.

Love the sketch! Those photos are taken with a great perspective, very well done.
It looks freshly painted, too!
Love your drawing and the perspective in your photos:)
Have a nice Sunday!
I wish I could draw like you do!
Beautiful!!!
Have a good week Evelyn! ;-)
i love your sketch!
It's definitely a different view from underneath, but that is where the engineering genius is, I'd say. Another lovely sketch, Evie
I love your painting, you are so good! :)
What a great painting. It's just right. Not too much or too little detail. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks everyone for dropping by, and providing encouraging comments.

What a cool sketch. And, I've lived here all my life and have to say these photos of the bridge at those angles are something I've not seen. Fantastic shots.

Hi Joanne, Thanks :). I know... I am the same with Melbourne, in Australia. I live there but there are still lots of places that I haven't been to, lots that I haven't seen.
I don't think I've been under very many bridges either. Fabulous shots. And I adore the drawing! The bridge looks huge with the little sailboats floating around it :D
Hi Kaori
Thanks. Yes, it is a huge bridge.

Your sketch of the bridge is beautiful like a postcard. As a follower of you I prefer your sketch on paper with pen, though I also like your painting on iPad.
Seeing the bridge from the different angle is interesting.
Have a nice weekend.

Thanks Yoko
