Chocolate and a few outdoor pieces

Irish Cream ipad painting © Evelyn Howard 2011

My husband came home with a box of chocolate recently. This is “Irish Cream” which was quite yummy.

It’s Paint Party Friday again, so click on the link for more creative works.

Back in San Francisco…

I enjoyed the free lunchtime concerts at Yerba Buena Park. As I drew this, a band from Mexico was entertaining the crowd, and a few people got up to dance. The lady in front of me sat on the grass and ate her sandwich.

Irish Cream flavor sounds exquisite. I'm drooling just imagining it melting inside my mouth... :p

I like how you said 'was' delicious, it's all gone of course! Nice painting, love the colours. Your other travel sketches are lovely too. Great way to remember your trip.

Your art is simply amazing. LOVE the subtleness of the chocolate (IF chocolate can be that way! haha) And I LOVE the outdoor concert one and just the one particular figure in colour. Amazing! Well done. :)

I especially like the 3rd sketch - it look like a mission from the architecture you've drawn.

The chocolate looks tempting, and I love how you sketch LIVE like that. I still haven't felt comfortable enough to go out with my sketch pad and do that sort of thing alone...but I'd love to try it!!

You always catch the feeling in events. The lady sitting on her coat watching the performance. Such a classic sight, but one most people miss when showing a picture of the scene. Such fun for us that you include these details.
