Don’t Feed

Dont Feed this bird © Evelyn Howard 2011
Acrylics on canvas paper, 8.27 x 11.69 inches

I am completing some paintings related to birds now (you might be sensing that already). What better way to practise and find my style, by painting a fun subject.

Anyway, I found the guy (above) at the San Diego Zoo, and I wouldn’t want to meet when I am alone. He was not pink, but I thought I’d dress him up.

Having said that I’m painting birds now… well, I could not resist painting this squirrel. He’s getting all dressed up for Christmas, in case you are wondering.

Oh, hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving yesterday, and Happy Weekend.

Paint Party Friday.
