Happy Thanksgiving

These are sketches completed when I visited San Francisco’s Japanese Tea Garden a few months ago. There were many stone lanterns and I was attracted to all of them.

Are you busy preparing for Thanksgiving day? Since I am now living in California, it will be my very first Thanksgiving. I have bought the turkey, and am reading up on what to do next!

Have a great Thanksgiving day, and a nice week.

The lantern sketches are lovely. Funny, I don't see you eating turkey, let alone cooking it! LOL! (No offence, of course. I just don't see you as an American. I don't do turkey either.) Anyway, hope it turned out scrumdelicious!

Thank you for your comment and advice about calendar-making. The one I made on Red Bubble arrived today and I am quite pleased with it. But I think I will try another company next year, as you suggested. :)

> Christine, Happy Thanksgiving! Pumpkin pie with ice cream - no, I haven't tried it yet. But I will keep a lookout for it. Not sure if I will be able to fit that in today!

> Francisca, none taken! I am an Asian at heart for sure. Haha, I took the easy way out - I only need to put the turkey, plus vege in the oven...

> Debbie, glad your calendar turned out well. Your work is fantastic and would look great in print.

> Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Thanks for visiting. Hope you are having a great day, whereever you are.

Good luck with the turkey dinner. It will be my daughter's first Thanksgiving too.

Hi, Evelyn! Lovely sketches of stone lanterns. They are indispensable items in Japanese gardens. I like it when moss grows on it and it looks antique. The first experience of Thanksgiving must be exciting. Have fun!

How was your thanksgiving? I had dinner with a couple of my girlfriends here in Tokyo. We had a blast cooking the whole day then promptly eating everything. xx

Thanksgiving was ok. It was just my husband and I so it was a quiet one. We had too much food! Glad you had a great time. Ev
