Cafepress buttons

Button By Evelyn HowardButton By Evelyn HowardButton By Evelyn Howard

I managed to set-up a cafepress store yesterday, and turned 3 of my bird paintings to buttons. I found the process quite tedious. I find the site to be not very user friendly and was pretty busy. It was slow, and did not allow me to buy the buttons. Sorry for the whinging – I have managed to buy them this morning, so I am looking forward to their arrival in the post soon.

Have you any experience with cafepress?

Evelyn- Are you not writing your gardening blog anymore? I myself have not had any direct experience with cafe press although I have brought a t-shirt made by them.

Half of the items I designed and ordered for Christmas presents from CafePress last year turned out to be defective (clocks) or not the color I had expected (coasters). I wanted to return them, but since I have to bear the cost of overseas postage, I just took the loss. (although two or three years ago, I designed an etegami messenger bag that my daughter LOVED and continues to show off to this day.)

I've never heard of the site till now and will take a look, but I love the buttons and hope you have none of dosankodebbie's problems. From her description, site doesn't sound like it rates any stars.

Evelyn, in response to the question you posted on my etegami blog: the Zazzle T-shirts I've ordered for myself have been very good quality, but you have to read the descriptions carefully. In the case of the popular Ladies Baby Doll style, Zazzle recommends ordering one or two sizes larger than usual because they run small.

No experience with the site, but your buttons are darling! Why is there no link to your online store on your site?

[Also, in my reader I have for you this for March 5: "This is a temporary post that was not deleted. Please delete this manually. (f3127f21-50f1-4a88-8ff2-3b6dc4f24e34 - 3bfe001a-32de-4114-a6b4-4005b770f6d7)" Just FYI.]
