Love my first rice pudding

Jeremy found a nice pub nearby on the net (hehe, no surprise there...) called The Fox Inn. It has a rather nice atmosphere.

I had a steak and kidney pie... it was good to try but I'm not fond of kidney. However, we shared a rice pudding, our first ever, and surprisingly we both liked it. We were tentative because to us rice is normally eaten as a main course, and is usually a savoury dish rather than a sweet dessert. The rice pudding had vanilla beans mixed in and was served with jam. We preferred it with just the vanilla beans, yummy! I'm looking forward to more rice pudding :)
