Hong Kong reflections – quiet spaces

I have had a fantastic time in Hong Kong. It is a busy city, but we were able to find places which were quiet to just sit and relax.

This photo was taken on a open air top floor coffee shop/wine bar. It had  fantastic views of the harbour on one side and tall buildings on the other. As I was framing the view above, I saw the little girl through my lens. I thought the timing was perfect as I held my breathe, and took the shot.

ps. Visit James at Weekend Reflections for more creative reflection shots

On the same floor as the cafe, I found this roof-top garden. I had the whole place to myself for a little while.

And here is another empty spot (in the same building) to sit and read or sketch, many floors above ground level.

At ground level, we found this green area in a park…

In the same park, we found a spot to sit and relax with soothing sounds of water…Visit Scenic Sunday for more scenic photos.

I hope you are having a nice weekend. I am no longer in Hong Kong, but I will share a few more photos in the coming posts. Thank you for visiting me when I was unable to access blogger, but I am back and will come by to your blog soon :).

Some of my favorite places in a big city are the quiet, out of the way places.

It's hard to believe that there are places in that huge city, where you can be almost completely alone :) Nice shots as always.

Heisann!

Good to know you are standing - Evelyn - reflecting the way you are. In Norway we call this "selvinnsikt" (a view into yourself).
Enjoy your days in Hong Kong ;:OD)
