Paris Hilton sunglasses and blackberry

Blackberry and Sunglasses © Evelyn Howard 2010

While having lunch at Nandos before my appointment today, I spotted this girl sitting across the restaurant. She had been busy with her phone the whole time; sometimes pressing buttons and sometimes talking into it. I made a sketch, and then coloured it at home.

I wasn’t eavesdropping but I overheard that she’s the new marketing coordinator overseeing that Nandos branch. Since we go there quite often, we might be bumping into her again. I hope so, since she has a nice face to draw. :).

Nice drawing Evelyn. Do you use ink as your main medium? I don't think it's marker...

Glad you posted this interesting drawing! -Joe

@ The N JOE: Thanks Joe. This one is pen, not marker. I think it was a 0.1 and o.8 pen.

Dear Evelyn,
Yey! Good work!! Simplified subject with deliberately selected colors. That's so nice.
Keep up!!

Very descriptive drawing. I like that you can see the character in it. It's wonderful that you can capture people in the moment. Happy creative every day.
