China in black and white

lamps in a row black and white © Evelyn Howard 2011

This is not a typical Chinese scene… I took this photo at a hotel in Hainan Island, China.

Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Wonderful perspective and depth. And I like it in monochrome.

I love architectural patterns--and black and white photography. Beautiful picture. --You do travel a lot to the orient. I'm guessing business? While I have no business going there, I'm still thinking of making it my business to take the trip. It's closer to you though than me.

Thanks everyone for visiting.

I think that's the ritz carlton in Sanya, Hainan Island. Linda - it is definitely a lot closer for me. I have not seen your part of the world much, so hopefully soon :)

Oh the Ritz? I was going to guess the Sheraton... Sanya sure is NOT the same place it was when I first went there in 1985! Lovely b&w, Evelyn.
