Hong Kong Longest Outdoor escalator © Evelyn Howard 2011

Interesting sights along the longest outdoor covered outdoor escalator. Takes you 800 meters, and elevates over 135 meters. We took the escalator to the top and walked down. It was one of my favourite outings. Read more here.

Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Love the way you framed the first shot.
As for that market, I am feeling dizzy just looking at the pics!

Superb first shot! I love it! Have to agree with Lesley where the market is concerned -- I'm feeling dizzy, too! Have a great weekend!

Great perspective for these shots. That must be some escalator ride. I wish I had known about it when we were there.

people from Sarawak are very scared of living in Singapore and HK. I don't dare to put my laundry up in case they fall down 30 floors down.

Luckily when I was in Singapore, I lived in a low rise, and didn't have to hang my "flags" this way.

The cage like/ train like you see at the rock is like a cage that goes up the lighthouse. A bit like a cable car. Not for public use.

Very impressive photos. I think I might panic in an environment like that...? Not really a fan of height nor of crowds...
