Amusement park by the beach
Getting some sun, notice the amusement park in the background
Water sport.
We were in Santa Cruz on the Independence day long weekend. As you can see in the top two photos, it was busy. It seemed that everyone went to the beach, since we had the hotel swimming pool all to ourselves.
I am attending a drawing class on Saturday, then I will probably spend more time over the weekend drawing, and learning Japanese. What are you up to this weekend? Hope you have a nice one!

Sounds like you're having a good time; looks like a lot of fun! I'll be attending the local art museum over the weekend in order to prep for a term paper that I have to write. I'll probably spend some time sketching as well.
Hi,Evelyn,
Photos have beautiful colours and light. Very eye catchy. Look forward to next!!

Thank you. It's been fun taking these pictures :). Happy Weekend and I look forward to seeing your art on Monday!
Hi Evelyn, nice to see this three colorfull photo's together, what a crowd! I'm curious after your drawings and Japanese seems a difficult language to me. Is it? Succes learning it!
>>Hi Nelleke
Yeah, I am finding Japanese difficult. I need more immersion but there's only so much time I have to spend on it. Anyway, it's good fun and I am enjoying it a lot. Hope you are having a nice weekend, Evelyn
Evelyn, Colorful, active shots like these are the best. The middle ones looks like the wave pool in Las Vegas--brought chills thinking about it. Compared to that, alone at the pool is ideal.

Haha, I don't like crowd either. Yeah, great to be alone in the pool :)

You sure do get around the globe.
How was your Japanese class?
The place is so packed! I'm a pool person myself. Love the photo with the colorful kayaks ;D
Hi Diane
I am missing Australia though...

Hi. I love being by the sea, but I sure prefer the pool.
My Japanese class is on going. I get on skype with a Japanese lady who teaches me everyweek. We get on really well.
Looks like you're having a grand time, sketching, learning a language, blogging even. :-) I would be inclined to pick the sea over a pool any time... but those crowds would keep me away.
