Tai O Bridges

Tai O is the name of a fishing village on Lantau Island, Hong Kong.

A little bridge coming off a bigger (red) bridge.

In this photo, I also love how the house is extended upwards.

Such interesting "buildings" by the water....with plastic tarps!!! I guess you can just build whatever you like...no codes I take it. Must get scary though when the storms move in from the water and wind starts blowing...guest bedroom could blow away,,,guest and all!!!

the way you handle line and composition is superb Evelyn. Sadami is so right. Wonderful photographs from a very photogenic part of the world.

What a neat variety of bridges all around the same area. I like the blue one, it looks like it might open for boats.

Unusual bridges in an interesting village. I too marvelled at the two storey palace.

It's obviously been a long time since I've been to Lantau... since before I started participating in Sunday Bridges! Did you go to the Big Buddha at Po Lin Monastery?
