From San Francisco to New York

Church Ipad painting © Evelyn Howard 2011

Boat ipad painting

My first submissions to Paint Party Friday. The top one shows a small section of a church, and the bottom one was drawn on a sunny day by the water. Both were completed in San Francisco.

Queens at night © Evelyn Howard 2011

For Weekend Reflections, let’s go to New York. I caught with some friends over dinner, and they took me Queens so that we could look at the Manhattan skyline from there. The above structure is in Queens, and my friends said most people point their cameras in the opposite direction…. see next 2 photos.

And a bridge for Sunday Bridges. The photos are not exactly sharp since I only had my point and shoot with me then., but I like them anyway. Hope you are not getting crossed-eyed!

The view was breathtaking, but my photos are not very good. I hope you enjoy them anyway.

Have a nice weekend.

Nice stylistic church, beautiful blue and white!

And I can imagine it was breathtaking to see all those lights and refelections in real. Wow! Your photos give a good impression!

Have a fun weekend too, Evelyn!

Two sketches are very good indeed! I wonder if there's anything you can't sketch?

Illuminations and reflections took my breath away - without the flood of colors but with golden or silvery nightscape.

Fantastic, Evelyn!
The church is Sts. Peter and Paul in San Francisco's North Beach where Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe were married.

As always, «Louis» appreciates your participation in Sunday Bridges.

The photographs are fantastic. The paintings are cute. You really do show up all over the place. I'm very curious about the job that takes you so far away from home.
