Sleeping Ipad Sketch © Evelyn Howard 2011

Man taking a snooze on a plane. He seemed pretty comfortable.

It’s Friday again? Where has the week gone! Paint Party Friday is back again. Hope you had a nice and creative week.

Happy Weekend.

If you are an art enthusiast, hopefully you might appreciate this photo of Pollock’s work (with a woman taking her time studying it) taken at MOMA in New York

That's a great sketch of a man snoozing on a plane. Your breakfast looks awesome. I've never been to NY, someday. I like your piece. Thx for sharing.

There's something very sweet on the sketch of the man resting on the plane.
Lobster breakfast? Don't make me envious! :D

I love this kind of artwork. Ah NYC, it's been awhile, loved that they had so much to do and see. The plays are fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Janet

This guy--maybe a Rabbi--looks pretty tuckered out--probably resting up for the high holiday? Good sketch--and great photograph of Time Square, wonderful composition as always. Did you go to the DeKooning Show at the MOMA or did you just pay your respects to Pollock?

Thanks everyone for coming by and leaving comments - as always, they are very much appreciated.

Linda, Thanks. Yes, I did see the DeKooning collection - no photos allowed in there unfortunately. Frankly, I was quite over museums and galleries at that stage. But it was pouring in New York, so I joined the crowd and spent an afternoon in MOMA.

Your ipad painting of the man snoozing is great! I pictured him not on a plane though but on a NYC park bench - on a sunny day.

Great to see you here at PPF Evelyn!
