As a designer, I find it difficult to do work for myself, because I can keep on designing forever (as opposed to working for a client, where restrictions of time and design fee apply). But last week, I managed to sort out my blog header, opting for a happy and playful look.
I have also applied this look to my design website. Have a look : http://evelynhoward.com. It is not perfect, so I will continue to tweak it.
I have also got some business cards printed recently – the front features the face used in the blog header and website, and the back features an illustration, which I completed some time ago (actually a T-shirt design – more on this later).

I like your business card design. I like your work. As a past designer, I like that you charge design fees. It was one of the biggest arguments between Honey and me. He said no. I said yes. He didn't design. I won. Good for you.

Woah, go away for two months and Evelyn does a transformation! Fantastic! Super like your graphic header and minimalist layout, on both blog and website. And I like your artwork; those ceramic bound feet slippers and the installation (?) are stunning. (A minor aside, on your website About Me, remove the apostrophe in "serve it's purpose"... that should be "...its...") :-)

Thanks for taking a look Evelyn and letting me know what you saw. There was time a couple of weeks ago, that you blog was blocked to me. I figured "they" were messing around with your site--or some other computer mishap was happening. When you posted this, I was glad to see you back.
For a minute there I thought I'd come to the wrong website! lol. I love the new header and the design, Evelyn! :D
