Watercolour from the country

I had a little time away in the country last week. There were lots of walking, bike riding and sketching. Here are a few pieces from my sketchbook.

Watercolour Flowers

Watercolour tree

Watercolour electricity

I am a little late for a Paint Party Friday, but no matter…

Happy Weekend.

You don't need a camera. Love the way you can choose ugly things to draw but make them look interesting. We have one of those power poles outside our house. I try to cover it by planting trees in front of it and then the council comes to lop them.

I love your sketches Evelyn. They are fresh and emit a wonderful point-of-view. They make me and everybody else smile.

I feel fresh air of the country. It’s hard to pick up only one, but my favorite is the third one.

Looking at your pictures, I wish I could paint like you. They are warm and nostalgic.
