Toy Run (Part 2)

Continuing from:
 Toy Run (Part 1)

Toy Run is an event when motorcyclists get together to donate toys to underprivileged children. In Melbourne, the annual Toy Run was held last Sunday (13 December 09).

All the participants rode to Williamstown (a suburb outside Melbourne).  It was a cloudy day. When the sun is out, Williamstown is usually busy with locals and tourists.

I love the marina shot. Now, I am a bit worried about the mini christmas tree on the bike. Will it fall when the bike starts to move?

Everyone writes a comment about the bird which is also my favorite. I wonder what it is about the photo/bird/nest we all like so much. Maybe a since of safety or having a "spot" that is just "mine"

Wonderful shots! I like the ships with their tall masts, the moody sky above them! The bird with her nest looks cozy in the middle of the sea!

What a wonderful cause to collect those toys!

I love the Christmas tree on a bike!

Thanks for sharing! That bird seems well-protected. Her own little castle, as it were.

Check back for another view of Point Bonita. Today's post will be of the lighthouse on the other side of the rock you saw yesterday.

Here are some images «Louis» took of la tour Eiffel when he lived in Paris. (Pardon the odd look of this blog - it got all buggy and Blogger wouldn't help «Louis» fix it, so he quit writing to it. His new blog is HERE.
